Before proceeding, you need to follow some pre-requirements which are as follow:
- Download and install the USB drivers for Xiaomi device.
- Enable the USB debugging by going to settings->About phone->MIUI version. Tap on it several times until the developer option gets enabled. After that, go to developer option and tap on the “USB debugging” option.
- Download and install Fastboot & ADB drivers for your Xiaomi smartphone.

Simple Steps To Boot Your Xiaomi Device into EDL mode using Fastboot mode
Step 1: Download Fastboot EDL file and the extract the file on your desktop and connect your smartphone to a computer via USB cable.
Step 2: After that, boot your phone into Fastboot mode. To do that, press and hold power and volume down buttons simultaneously until you see the Mi bunny logo.
Step 3: Then go to the Fastboot EDL extracted folder and locate the edl.cmd file and click on it to run it. After running the edl.cmd file, your device will be rebooted and you will enter into EDL mode.
