1. Disable antivirus program and checking for latest windows updates:
First of all, you need to disable your antivirus program. To do that, search for control panel in windows start menu search bar and open it. Follow this channel to reach the destination control panel->System and security->Windows Firewall-> In windows Firewall window, locate Turn Windows firewall On or Off. Turn it off and restart your computer.

Go to windows settings by pressing windows+I buttons and select the option “update and security”. Windows settings-> Update & Security->windows update->check for updates.
2. Turn On the option of “applications are allowed to use camera”:
The windows will give permission to applications to use the camera, if this option is enable otherwise not. To check this, whether it is On or not. Go to settings->Search for camera privacy settings-> Turn this option On “lets apps use my camera hardware”. After that, restart your computer.
3. Change the camera settings to Default:
By changing the camera settings to default. this action will resolve the problem and will set the configuration settings to default. To do this, search apps & features->locate camera application and click on it->You will see advanced option click on it->In that particular window, you will see Reset option. Just click on Reset Button.

4. How To Roll Back Webcam Drivers:
If you are facing this problem after recent windows update, then you need to Roll Back your webcam drivers. To do this, press windows+R buttons and simply type devmgmt.msc and press enter. It will open device manager.
In device manager window, you will see camera. Just expand it and right click on that particular camera device and select properties. After that go to drivers tab and locate the option “Roll back driver” and click on it. Choose yes to continue with Roll Back Driver and wait for the process to complete. At last, restart your computer and you are good to go.
