Shortcuts is feature of Windows that allow users to perform particular tasks with ease through assigned combination of keys. Method # 1: Enable and Disable Hotkeys/Shortcut keys
The first methods, we include is enabling and disabling the shortcut keys. By doing this, there is a high chance to get rid of this problem. Follow the below steps carefully:
Step 1: You need to press windows+R key to open run command.

Step 2: In run command, type “gpedit.msc” to open “local group policy editor”.
Step 3: HDMI port require a specific cable which is called HDMI cable. In the left pane, follow the below path:
User configuration->Administrative templates->Windows components->File explorer

Step 4: After selecting the file explorer, then navigate to the right pane and double click on “Turn Off Windows Hot Keys”.
Step 5: Then select the option “Enabled” and click on “Apply” and then “Ok”.
By following the above steps, your problem will solve. If you are still facing the problem, then proceed to next method.
Method # 2: Uninstall The Keyboard Drivers and Then Install it Again
- Launch the “Device manager” by pressing windows+R key and typing “devmgmt.msc”.
- After that, navigate the “Keyboard” option and click on it to expand it.
- Then right click on it and select the option “uninstall device”.
- After doing that, restart your computer.
Wait for the booting process to complete and the computer will automatically install that missing drivers for you, which you have uninstalled before.
