Methods To Flash MIUI ROM using Mi Flash Tool:
Step 1: Download the MIUI Fastboot ROM from above link and then extract it on your computer.
Step 2: Then download the Mi Flash Tool. Install it and run the application. In Mi Flash Tool, click on the Select button and locate the MIUI Fastboot ROM which you have downloaded and extracted on your computer before.
Step 3: Connect your phone to a computer via USB cable.
Step 4: To boot your phone into Fastboot mode, press and hold power and volume down buttons simultaneously until you enter into Fastboot mode.
Step 5: If you want to connect your device, then click on the Refresh button.
Step 6: Then at the bottom of Mi Flash Tool interface, click on “clean all” button and then click on “Flash” button to start the process of flashing.
Step 7: Wait for the flashing process to complete and the you will see the success message. Reboot your phone.
Methods To Flash MIUI ROM using command prompt:
Step 1: Go to the “image” folder located in the extracted MIUI Fastboot ROM which you have downloaded before and extracted on your computer.
Step 2: Connect your phone to a computer via USB cable.
Step 3: Press and hold power and volume down buttons simultaneously until you enter into fastboot mode.
Step 4: In image folder, right click anywhere in the white space while holding shift key and then select “open command window here” or “open power shell window here” from properties menu.
Step 5: If you want to check your phone is connected or not, type the following command:
fastboot devices
Step 6: After that, type the following command consecutively to flash the MIUI Fastboot ROM and press enter to continue:
fastboot flash system system.img
Step 7: Press enter to continue and type the following command:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Step 8: Press enter to continue and type the following command:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Step 9: Press enter to continue and type the following command:
fastboot flash cache cache.img
Step 10: Press enter to continue and type the following command:
fastboot erase userdata
Step 11: Press enter to continue and type the following command:
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
Step 12: Press enter to continue and type the following command:
fastboot reboot
Step 13: Press enter to reboot your device. Finally, you have unbricked your phone and installed MIUI Fastboot ROM.
