Steps To install LineageOS 16 on Galaxy J5:
Step 1: Make sure that you have unlock the bootloader, installed TWRP recovery and rooted your Galaxy J5. As I have provided the above link to follow the complete guide.
Step 2: Download the above files of LineageOS 16 and Gapps and then transfer it to the internal storage of your phone.
Step 3: Boot your phone into TWRP recovery, turn your phone off, press and hold power and volume down simultaneously until you see the TWRP logo.
Step 4: Tap on “back-up” option and then “Data” and “Cache” from the recovery menu.
Step 5: Then tap on “install” option and locate the downloaded ROM file which you have transferred to the internal storage of your phone before. Select it. Then tap on “Add more zip files” and select the Gapps file and “swipe to confirm flash”.
Step 6: Wait for the flashing process and reboot your phone and then you will be booted into LineageOS 16 on Galaxy J5.
