Steps To Download and install LineageOS 16 on Huawei Mate 9:
Step 1: Make sure that you have unlock the bootloader, install TWRP recovery and Rooted your Huawei Mate 9. As I have provided the link above to follow the complete guide.
Step 2: Download the above files of LineageOS 16 and Gapps and then transfer it to the internal storage of your phone.
Step 3: Boot your phone into TWRP recovery mode, switch your phone off, press and hold power and volume down buttons simultaneously until you see the TWRP logo.
Step 4: Tap on the “back-up” option and then “Data” and “Cache” from the recovery menu.
Step 5: Tap on “install” option and then locate the ROM file which you have downloaded and transferred it to the internal storage of your phone. Select it. Then tap on “Add more zip files” and “Swipe to confirm flash”.
Step 6: Wait for the flashing process to complete and reboot your phone, then you will booted into LineageOS 16.
