Methods To Uninstall Security Essentials in Windows 10
Step 1: Simultaneously press windows + R key to open run dialogue box and then “taskmgr” into the run dialogue box.
Step 2: In task manager window, click in the “Service” tab and find the “WinDefend”. Right click on it and select “stop”. By doing this, windows defender will not prevent you from installing or uninstalling MSE. You can uninstall any program.

Step 3: Go to “control panel” and then click on “program & features” -> “Uninstall a program”.
Step 4: Locate the MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) and uninstall it. You will see the MSE will uninstall successfully.
Step 5: After that, restart your computer.
